You own the outputs generated by the AI based on your inputs, subject to the underlying rights of any source materials used.

Important: AI-generated hypotheses, analyses, and recommendations are tools to assist research—not replacements for human judgment. You must:

  • Verify all AI outputs before use in research or clinical applications
  • Independently validate all hypotheses and conclusions
  • Not rely solely on AI for critical research or medical decisions
  • Comply with all research ethics, institutional review boards, and regulatory requirements
  • Acknowledge that AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete information

Our Service may use third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) to process your data. Alternatively, organizations can use Ollama for fully on-premise AI processing. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • Your data may be processed by third-party AI providers (unless using on-premise Ollama)
  • Such processing is subject to the providers' respective terms and privacy policies
  • Your organization administrator can configure which AI providers are used
  • On-premise options (Ollama) keep data within your infrastructure

8. Payment and Billing

Licensing fees are determined by your organization's contract. Payment terms are specified in your organization's agreement with NousLab. Failure to pay may result in service suspension.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including GDPR. Research data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

10. Service Availability

13. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • AI outputs will be accurate, complete, or error-free
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or secure

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold NousLab harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Tarragona, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
