What does forking a shared project actually copy?
A deep fork copies everything from the shared project into your own workspace: all papers with their extracted data, hypotheses, meta-analysis results, protocol documents, roadmaps, molecular compounds with their PubChem links and paper pivots, and translations. You get a fully independent copy that you can modify and extend without affecting the original.
Can I control who sees my shared research?
Yes. Research is shared within your organization only. Only members of your organization can browse the Research Library and see what has been published. External users and other organizations cannot access your shared work.
Does forking affect the original shared project?
No. Forking creates a completely independent copy in your workspace. Any changes you make to the forked project have no effect on the original. The original author retains full ownership and control of their shared research.
How does the Research Library prevent duplicate research?
When a researcher shares their project to the library, everyone in the organization can see what topics are being investigated, which papers have been analyzed, and what hypotheses have been generated.
